Let me start off by saying that any opinion here is welcome and this post probably goes to those who are looking for a WAY to start making money online or those who don’t want to learn affiliate marketing because your too lazy to start testing offers and losing 1k a day with no profit.
Alright, so a few months ago I was talking to my good friend John Hasson on how potential Forex Trading is and how he should give it a try. I recommended him a book to start him off and from that day on it’s history. He started paper trading for maybe about 1 week then went live… Yeah he went live after 1 weekish! You know how long it took me to start trading live? Let’s not even go there but anyways John is a real smart guy. For those of you who don’t know John he’s been doing affiliate marketing since 2006 and also a great programmer.
So, I told John to tell me his views on Forex Trading and how potential it is over Affiliate Marketing. Even though he’s only been doing it for a month, John already saw the difference. Here is a what he said
1. With Forex I don’t have to trick poor people into buying magic berries
2. Forex is scalable, say in Affiliate Marketing you find a few good products in tight niches.. you can only expand that so much..
3. With Forex it doesn’t hurt you to share tips and tricks, aff marketing, everybody has to keep it a secret.[Ex: Don't share landing pages, keywords, etc. shh shh]
4. Going from $2000 a day to $20,000 a day involves little more then just investing more per trade
5. You don’t have to keep chasing new offers and having aff managers humping your leg
6. Don’t need to wait to get paid
John threw some heavy shit in that list and I bet he can come up with some more. He also profited 204 pips in one week! which is awesome for someone who just started trading live. Yes, Forex trading has it’s cons but you don’t have to deal with that bullshit when you make 1k a day but owe google $900. How about making 1k a day and keeping that 1k and cashing it out then spend it at a night club with 10 broads.

Sounds great but what are some of the big cons to Forex? Sure you could make 1k a day profit but couldn’t you just as easily lose it? As far as I see it, it’s a form of gambling, but I may be wrong and hopefully you can give me some insight.

Bryn, Forex Trading requires some deep analytical consideration as gambling doesn’t. You should keep in touch with some regional news related, before deciding to place an order in Forex,…

I’m currently involved with both and have been trading longer than affiliate marketing. Legally, there has to be “skill” involved in order for an activity not to be classified as gambling. Just like you noted above, the analysis of a trade fulfills that requirement imho.
Without a doubt, forex trading is the better of the two pursuits. Less headaches, less to manage, less hoops to jump through. On the downside, until you find your system, the psychological anguish of losing money is horrible. Flip-flopping around in the markets while your cutting your teeth requires nothing short of pure persistence, and patience. Trading really helped me a lot with marketing. I wouldn’t of had the guts to stay in affiliate marketing, if I wasn’t first conditioned in Forex. The lessons you learn in forex are very relevant to aff. mktg. I think they complement each other fairly well.

Be careful with Forex. You could lose your shirt.
I just made 10g’s in 2 weeks and Forex wasn’t even a consideration. Better and smarter ways to trade, Cuz. I talked to you about it already.
